Use Vexly with Claude Desktop

Claude Desktop should use Vexly as a remote connector, not through claude_desktop_config.json.

  1. Open Claude Desktop.
  2. Go to Settings → Connectors.
  3. Click Add custom connector.
  4. Enter this URL:
https://api.vexly.io/api/v1/public/mcp
  1. Click Add.
  2. Follow the browser sign-in flow and approve the Vexly connection.

Verify It Worked

  1. Open a new Claude Desktop chat.
  2. Click the + button near the prompt box.
  3. Open Connectors and confirm Vexly is available.
  4. Ask Claude to use Vexly for a task.

Example prompt:

Use Vexly to review last week's performance across all connected services and return the top 5 changes or risks. Wait for completion, and use a 180 second timeout.

Important Note

Claude Desktop remote connectors are configured through the Connectors UI. Do not try to add the Vexly remote MCP endpoint directly through claude_desktop_config.json.

Vexly MCP now waits up to 180 seconds by default before returning a pending run.
